SPINNAKERS
Our Spinnakers are designed with state-of-the-art 3-D
sail design software in Full-Radial or Tri-Radial cut.
The Full Radial
design is the most popular choice and strongest construction. The radial
shaped panels fan out from the three corners Head, Clew and Tack and
run throughout the sail. The Tri-Radial layout, which has horizontal
panels in the middle, is eligible for smaller sails with lower loads.
This construction is less expensive in production because it is easier
to manufacture and cloth can be used more efficiently.

The benefit of both constructions is that the stress, which is
radiating from Head, Clew and Tack into the sail, is along the seams
instead of across them. The result is a strong sail and minimizes
stretch and distortion. Furthermore the radial construction allows a
more precise alignment of loads, while the number of panels enables the
use of 3-D shaping and creating the optimum flying shape. In addition to
the saildesign our excellent handcraft finish ensures precision shaped
panels, strength, durability and performance.
Our standard features are:
- Individual Sail design
- Full or Tri-Radial panel layout

Utilize your individual colour on our design template.
Our experienced saildesigners will do their best to match your design.
Our Spinnakers come in three styles:
– the symmetrical, the asymmetrical and our standard spinnaker.
Rolly Tasker Symmetrical All Purpose Spinnaker
Rolly Tasker symmetrical All Purpose spinnakers are the ideal sail for
the sporty ambitious weekend sailor, long passage maker or serious racer
on courses from 80 to 180 degrees.

Rolly Tasker Asymmetrical MPS-Spinnaker
The Rolly Tasker MPS Spinnaker is an easy to
use sail which optimizes the sailing performance in light winds on
courses from 75 to 160 degrees. It combines the characteristics of a
reaching genoa with a spinnaker and therefore might fill a gap in your
sail inventory. The typical characteristic is a longer luff than the
leech. The Tack will be fixed at the bow fitting or gennaker boom and is
thereby flown without a spinnaker pole: hence much easier to handle
than a symmetrical spinnaker. For this reason they are widely used on
cruising boats, though they are also an important sail in a racer’s
wardrobe to maximise upwind performance. When combined with a spinnaker
sock the asymmetrical spinnaker becomes a sail that can be used by
single or short-handed crews under all conditions.

Rolly Tasker Standard Spinnakers
Next to our individualized spinnaker we produce standard symmetrical and
asymmetrical spinnaker. They are produced in 20 sizes for the most
commonly made yachts in a standard colour full radial panel layout. This
enables us to supply you with top quality sails at very competitive
prices. The spinnaker cloth, sail design and finish will meet the high
quality level of our individual sail production. In addition you can
purchase a suitable sized spinnaker sock for easy handling.
To offer a complete package we can deliver configured Polyester or
Dyneema sheets which are produced in-house with our modern rope braiding
machines.
