Our Core Business Is Cruising Sails<\/a><\/h2>

Rolly Tasker Sails are renown around the world as the preferred choice for cruising sailors, from relaxed daysailing to family coastal cruising and truly adventurous ocean voyaging and circumnavigating.<\/p>

Our sails<\/a> have a strong reputation for offering best quality for your money, in terms of performance, but also and maybe even more importantly for offshore cruising folk, for being strong, reliable and dependable.<\/p>

So Why Did We Choose To Enter The One Design Sails<\/a> Market?<\/h2>

At first glance, it seems like quite a departure that we now also make first class, high performing one-design class dinghy sails<\/a> for the highly competitive Optimist<\/a> and Finn Dinghy<\/a> classes. But this actually takes us back to our roots<\/strong> \u2013 our founder, Rolly Tasker<\/strong> (1926 to 2012), began his outstanding racing career in sailing in one-design dinghy racing<\/strong> on international and even Olympic levels. In fact, Rolly Tasker was the first ever Australian sailor to win an Olympic medal<\/strong>, silver, in the 12-square-metre Sharpie class at the 1956 Olympic races in Melbourne.<\/p>

We Are Personally Involved<\/h2>

Things have obviously moved on since, but here\u2019s another reason why we are back in dinghy racing: We are very much personally involved, not only but also through our CEO Sven<\/strong> who has, next to his usual family and offshore sailing, also taken up sailing the Finn Dinghy<\/strong>. And through his kids<\/strong> who are beginning an active and competitive sailing career in the Optimist<\/strong>.<\/p>

We also support sailors in this class, both in Thailand and Europe.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For both the Optimist and Finn classes, we invested in a lot of research, training and testing with some internationally highly competitive sailors<\/strong> and their coaches to find the best possible sail designs<\/strong> that you can now benefit from.<\/p>
