{"id":373,"date":"2019-03-22T23:08:34","date_gmt":"2019-03-22T22:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rolly.stammtisch-report.de\/?p=373"},"modified":"2025-01-23T15:14:05","modified_gmt":"2025-01-23T14:14:05","slug":"cdx-pro-cruising-laminate-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rollytasker.com\/en\/news\/cdx-pro-cruising-laminate-review\/","title":{"rendered":"CDX Pro Cruising Laminate Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have test sailed last week the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollytasker.com\/en\/our-sails\/performance-cdx-pro-laminate-sails\/\">CDX Pro Polyester Cruising Laminate<\/a> Mainsail, Headsail and Staysail from JPK Shipyard Lorient, France to German Bight.<\/p>\n<p>I was keen to look into shapeholding and durablity compared to CDX Old that we have produced about 40,000 m2 and we were extremely happy with.<\/p>\n<p>We sailed all 920 miles from Biskay through English Channel almost nonstop against the wind up to 27 knots true wind &#8211; perfect test conditions for boat and sails!!<\/p>\n<p>Attached photo shows the mainsail after 920 miles upwind in partially rough conditions and reefed with still good shape. Fabric looks almost new condition except salt crust !!<\/p>\n<p>Well done to Contender team &#8211; test successful and we stand behind the product. The CDX Pro seems to be a great development and is a perfect match between performance, durablity and price.
