Since 1996, all sailboat models made by Precision Boat Works in Florida, USA have been outfitted with Rolly Tasker Sails.

Precision Boats Sales Manager Barton Bleil explains why: “Rolly Tasker Sails and Precision Boat Works can both be described as companies that demonstrate quality, consistency, performance, reliability as well as great customer service! Rolly Tasker Sails was a perfect match for ours! It can also be said that when a product’s features and benefits exceed the cost, you deliver value. And that is what both our companies do.”

Precision Boat works was founded in 1978 by Bill and Richard Porter, who have created a hugely popular range of small sailboats. This includes dinghies and small cabin daysailers ranging from 15 to 23 feet in length. All these boats are of course trailerable and are simple to use, yet provide loads of fun when sailing. The Precision 185 accordingly was named as Best Value Winner in the Sailing World Magazine 2003 Boat of the Year Awards.

Each new boat has a mainsail and jib by Rolly Tasker Sails as standard inventory. Rolly Tasker Sails furling headsails is an option for all models and various sized optional genoas for some.

Precision Boat Works have recently discontinued making new boats but continue to service the huge existing fleet, so many new sails are being shipped from Rolly Tasker Sails to Precision. “Bill Porter since then has continued to service the nearly 5,000 Precision boats in use with parts and customer technical assistance. As he was hands on with each and every one of these boats, there is no one in the world with more experience & knowledge of all the Precision models”, says Barton Bleil.
