ROLLY TASKER SAILS SPAIN – In new Hands

After 30 successful years, Rolly Tasker Sails representatives for Spain, Mary Synge and Paul Kinzelmann from Mallorca, can now enjoy their well-earned retirement. They are followed by Amalia Ortega Lozano and Andreas Geiger who have been thriving with their own sail-making business near Barcelona since 2011. Through the Sail Select network, they already also have distributed Rolly Tasker Sails throughout Spain. Joining Rolly Tasker Sails full-time now is a logical step since Mary and Paul are retiring.

Established Sailmaking Business

Amalia Ortega Lozano and Andreas Geiger are well established as sailmakers with many loyal customers both on the Spanish mainland and islands. Their own sail-loft is located in Vilanova y la Geltru not far from Barcelona, where Amalia is the corporate coordinator for Rolly Tasker Sails in Spain and takes care of all sales and handling issues. Customers testify to their reliability, service and the quality workmanship of Rolly Tasker Sails.

Special Services

Andreas is a professional sailmaker and experienced racing sailor. He coordinates a team of sailmakers in their sail-loft and advises customers on technical matters. Andreas will also measure the new sails, if needed, and help with the choice of design, material and other specifications for the individual needs of each customer. Andreas and Amalia work with local sailmakers throughout the country to offer a full range of sail-making services and also offer cruising sails at competitive prices as “Yacht in Transit” deliveries to areas where the yacht is not registered, a particular speciality for which they can also draw on many years of experience.
