About Bavaria Yachts
Bavaria Yachts (www.bavariayachts.com) is a well-known German brand of yachts, the company has been on the market for over 45 years but has changed ownership a few times in the past years. This has led to several evolutions in the range of sailing yachts. Bavaria Yachts has come a long way since their beginnings, the current range of yachts is widely regarded as modern, comfortable, and well built.Sail-plan of Bavaria Yachts
Current Bavaria Yachts have typical contemporary performance cruising sail-plans with generous sail area, powerful mainsails and a large foretriangle where usually a large Genoa is set. On larger models there is scope for some modification, some individual Bavaria Yachts are, for example, cutter rigged.Typical Sail Choices of Bavaria Yacht Owners
As the vast majority of Bavaria Yachts are used for relaxed family cruising or chartering, furling solutions for both main and foresails are very common here. However, some boats also lean more towards the performance sailing side and have powerful mainsails of advanced design and fabric, plus a more sophisticated choice of headsails. Finally, a few are also equipped for ocean sailing with sometimes modified and strengthened rigging and dedicated ocean standard cruising sails made for higher dependability and better UV resistance. Also, very popular with owners of Bavaria Yachts are our options for easily handled reaching or downwind sails, such as the Rolly Tasker Sails Code C or similar.Mainsails for Bavaria Yachts
At Rolly Tasker Sails, we offer various types of mainsails. Which one is for you depends on your type of sailing. Crosscut mainsails are made for cruising durability and good performance, while our tri-radial mainsails use different fabrics and have more emphasis on performance. For easy family cruising, we also offer in-mast or in-boom furling mainsails which are very popular with owners of Bavaria yachts.Headsails for Bavaria Yachts
The typical headsail for a Bavaria yacht would be a good, medium-sized all-round furling genoa that can cope with a wide range of wind speeds. Again, we offer these both in crosscut design made from Dacron cloth, which is best for everyday and offshore cruising, as well as in the slightly more expensive tri-radial design for even better performance.Reaching and Downwind Sails for Bavaria Yachts
We offer a wide range of different reaching and downwind sails, each of which will greatly enhance your sailing experience. These range from custom-made symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers to modern reaching sails such as a Code Zero. For easy sailing, quick delivery and best value for money we also offer the ready-made Code C sail developed by us especially for family or short-handed cruising sailors as well as ready-made spinnakers and furling spinnakers. Some Testimonials of Bavaria Yachts Owners

Faster than a cat
Forgot to let you know how the code 55 went. It’s fantastic had it out the other weekend in about 7 to 9 knots sailing at about 60 degrees and not even trying were doing around 6.5 knots. We were sailing with a 11.6 sea wind cat and our Bavaria 33 cruiser with the code 55 left him for dead. He wasn’t happy but we were. Great investment.

Very high standard of workmanship
I am very happy with my new Tri-radial Offshore Genoa. Rolly Tasker listened to my requirements and designed the sail to suit. It was delivered very quickly and the standard of workmanship was very high with a lot of attention to the finishing details.

Pleased with workmanship and fast delivery
Having just received a new coastal fully battened mainsail from Rolly Tasker I am very pleased with the workmanship and the set of the sail when hoisted. The delivery was pretty fast considering the sail was made in Thailand.
